A while ago a friend told me she was working on a book and asked if I would participate. The idea was to write a book about life’s simple pleasures; a coffee table book of sorts. The book covers simple ideas for enjoying life and making the most of it. Leigh put together a wonderful collection of quotes and ideas for entertaining, relaxing, how to seize the moment and really how to make every day a little bit better.
She went to her friends and family to collect stories and anecdotes, and I was one of the lucky ones she reached out to! Knowing I’m a runner, she asked me to write about why I love to run, why it means so much to me and how it makes my life better. Of course, I was happy to help. I started this blog partially because I wanted to help others find a love for running!

This morning, after starting my workout at the gym, I headed outside for a 30 minute run. After three mornings of rain and humidity, it was so great to get outside and enjoy a beautiful sunrise and cool breeze! A perfect morning for a run.
This is a great book, perfect as a gift for a friend or yourself. Perfect to read in a comfy seat with a warm cup of tea!
